Shall a representative from a foreign company come to Lithuania for the establishment of the company?

There is no need to come to Lithuania due to the establishment of the company in case our expert is appointed as an agent by a Power of Attorney (POA). POA specifies all the powers given to our expert, who prepares all required documents for the establishment, represents you at the Notary and other institutions.

What kind of documents are required for the establishment?

  • extract from the Commercial Register (if the shareholder is a legal entity);
  • copy of the passport or ID card of the shareholder, address (if the shareholder is a natural person);
  • copy of the passport or ID card, residence address of a General Manager.

How long does it take to establish a limited liability company?

The length of the process depends how fast required documents are presented. Usually the process takes 7-10 working days.

When the company could be registered as a VAT payer?
